La prof de français s'appelle Françoise, elle est française...
Normal d'être prof de français quand on s'appelle Françoise !
Autrefois, française se disait françoise.. ou tout au moins s'écrivait car nulle trace d'un enregistrement !
In the past ( long time ago !) française ( feminine adjective for french) was written françoise.. so, it's normal to be a French teacher when you are called Françoise, as I am.
See below, the book's title is " The origins of the French langage" (published in 1650)
